明白 has helped customers solve many IT problems over the years, including The Glasgow Science Centre.
One of Scotland’s most popular visitor attractions and an independent Scottish education charity, Glasgow Science Centre attracts more than 300,000 visitors each year including 70,000名学童. Tell us about the benefits of your solution to the initial problem?
Since transferring over to Pure Storage, the issues have reduced almost to zero and a data reduction of 3.4 to 1, which the Science Centre expects to reduce further over time. They are also now managing all storage across three rack units, using only 670w of power in all.
The Pure Storage array that 明白 recommended and helped install has reduced Glasgow Science Centre’s storage management requirements, even more so since there is no need for patching or controlling volumes.
